Students found guilty of such act by the way of indulging in or outside the premises of the University shall be liable to punishment as per the guidelines given by UGC in the light of direction of Hon'ble Supreme Court depending upon the nature and gravity of the offences established by Anti Ragging Committee of the University.

The punishment for those found guilty of the ragging at the University level shall be any one or any combination of the following : ul>

Suspension from attending classes and academic privileges

Withholding/ withdrawing scholarship/ fellowship and other benefits

Debarring from appearing in any test/ examination or other evaluation process

Debarring from representing the institution in any regional, national or international meet, tournament,youth festival etc.

Withholding Results

Suspension/expulsion from the hostel

Cancellation of admission

Rustication from the institution for period ranging from 1 to 4 semesters

Fine ranging from Rs. 25,000/- and Rs. 1 Lakh

Collective Punishment: When the persons committing or abetting the crime of ragging are not identified,

National Days :Republic Day and Independence Day are being celebrated every year at the University Campus.
